Zara sets sail for spring

Zara's April lookbook is definitely what I am striving after this summer. I totally back the clean designs and the fresh-faced collection. Featuring model Liu Wen, the line exudes sophistication and an undeniable peachiness. Nevertheless, I have to admit that I favor the stunning hues more than the digital print trends but that's due to my general aversion for patterns I think. All in all, the collection goes back to the concept of "less is more", a timeless motto which strikes the balance between seasonal must haves and closet staples.

Get over it

After more than two weeks of blogging abstinence, it's high time to recover lost time. I had lots to do in the past days, as for instance training in video shooting and editing at a German TV broadcaster and a journey to Brussels where we visited the European Commission. To alleviate all that stress, I rewarded myself with shopping. Fortunately, I got hold of some real highlights although my wardrobe is already bulging. But I created some space for this stunning Zara leather jacket and this sleeveless blouse by Asos. Moreover, I acquired that silvery plain chain which goes perfectly with this white blouse. At the end of the day, I caught sight of these awesome Cotton On wegdes which I just had to have. And although it hit me in the pocket, the purchases definitely satisfied my cravings.

Size doesn't matter. Right?

Yesterday, I got hold of these awesome Zara wedges. At first, I was reluctant to buy them as I am six feet tall even without them. But after a moment's hesitation, I thought "Who cares?" - so I greedily grabbed them. Thus I am taller by a head than nearly everyone but that's what I am used to. And as I got them on the cheap, I really made a snatch. But besides that, I was hesitant to buy these candy floss coloured jeans. Although, they nearly begged me to buy them, I decided against doing so. Guess it's the weather why I'm not yet up for those sorbet coloured looks. But this approach will change as soon as the first rays of dawn caress my face. Hopefully.

TRF Lookbook: Edgy and utterly stylish

In the last years, it has always been the same routine. Almost before the year draws a close, several fashion houses start slapping out their Chrismasy collections. Same this season, how should it be any different? But before presenting you this year's solemn outfits, I attend to ZARA's new TRF Lookbook. I mean, there is more than a month left 'til Christmas. And the November collection has much going for: It's easygoing, edgy and utterly stylish.
Today, Zara presented their A/W '11 Opening Party Video via facebook. I mean the video is great, but what cames right into my mind while watching it was: Who sings this great song. Has anyone an idea?

Zara's TRF Lookbook: Coming soon

In February, Zara will announce the new TRF's lookbook. Here is a foretaste of the collection.

How do you like the design?

Zara goes online.

At last!! In the nick of time, Zara gets its own onlineshop early in September. I always thought I will never live to see that happening. It makes me perfectly happy. Well, at least almost. You should know that I am searching for these special blue chinos with brown suspenders for so long now. And the last two days, I was shopping in four different Zara shops in three different cities just to find these in my size.

So, these are not by Zara (but by American Vintage) and so I guess you have a clue now which pants I meant. Hopefully, I'll get them in Zara's onlineshop as it is sooo difficult to find them in the stores in my size. Keep your finger's crossed for me.

P.s.: In the meantime, I got them :D
Today, I found my suspender pants in Mayence, of course Zara.
